Exciting destinations await Luckley House A Level students

Luckley House School is celebrating a 100% pass rate in its A Levels and said that all of its pupils should be celebrated.

The Wokingham school said that armed with excellent grades, skills, confidence and enthusiasm, its class of 2017 will be going on to university to take on courses in Engineering, Physics, Psychology, Nursing and Art, among others.

Lauren Clark is heading to Warwick University to study Psychology

Head student, Alice Jennings is thrilled with her results and is taking a year out to work at St Neot’s preparatory school. Alice is looking forward to successful applications to study Nursing.

Ross Bradford, one of Luckley’s first intake of boys into the Sixth Form when we moved to coeducation in 2015, was delighted to secure a place at Plymouth University to study Business Management.

Other exciting destinations include:

  • Susana Becerra is going to Southampton University to study Politics and International Relations.
  • Becky Saunders will study Midwifery at Surrey University.
  • Boris Chu is going to Bristol University to study Engineering
  • Sophie Cranley also has a place at Bristol University, studying Engineering and Mathematics.
  • Jessica Valentine has secured a place at Swansea University studying Egyptology and Classical Civilisation and will be joined by Isvana Da Silva-Estro, who will be studying Law.
  • Boris Ng will study Chinese History at the University of Edinburgh.

Luckley’s head, Jane Tudor, said: “Success has been achieved through dedication and hard work on the part of students and teachers alike.

“With successful university applications being the result of focused careers advice and expert UCAS guidance, these students are embarking on the next stage of their education confident in their choices and ready to build on their considerable A Level achievements.“
