An efit has been released of a man police wish to question following the attempted rape of a woman walking her dog in Winnersh last week.
It comes after police released a man they had been talking to in connection with the incident that took place on Thursday, November 2.
The woman was in a park behind Dunstans Drive at about 5.55pm when she was approached and grabbed from behind by a man.
He pulled the 36-year-old to the ground and attempted to remove her clothes. However, the victim’s dog became aggressive and the offender ran from the scene.
The vwoman was not injured in the incident.
The offender is described as having tanned skin, dark hair and is clean shaven. He may be aged in his thirties and is about 5ft 7ins tall.
He was wearing a black hooded top and black or navy jogging bottoms.
Officers are continuing to investigate whether the incident is linked to a sexual assault which occurred in Bracknell at about 1am on Friday, November 3. In this incident a 25-year-old woman was grabbed by a man who attempted to remove her clothing before she managed to get away from him.
Investigating officer Detective Inspector Jon Groenen, of Newbury Force CID, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who recognises the man show in the image, or anyone who has any information which could help us to identify him.
“We are continuing to investigate both incidents and the possibility that they could be linked.
“If you have any information which you think could help our investigation, please call the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number on 101.”
