The organiser of a multicultural event in Wokingham later this month is appealing for a headline sponsor, and for more acts.
Varun Prabhakar told Wokingham Today that the event, which will take place at Elms Field on April 25 and April 26, will feature a variety of attractions, including Hong Kong and Indian bands, a variety of stalls, food vendors and the Wokingham’s Got Talent competition.
Whilst food stalls have been allocated, he is still seeking applications from others – especially a gym or fitness-based business.
He’s also looking for more entries for the talent competition, which will feature prizes and certificates for the winners.
The free to attend event, which he hopes will become an annual event, is supported by Wokingham town council.
