The Co-op in Shinfield was closed by police this evening following an incident.
The Hyde End Road convenience store has been sealed off as a result.
Details are not yet know but The Wokingham Paper understands that police were called after 8.30pm following reports of a disturbance.
Although there have been reports on social media of blood being seen on the scene, we understand that staff are ok.
Thames Valley Police’s press office is currently closed so further details will not be available until tomorrow morning.
