A long-established business in Wokingham town centre has revealed it will be closing later this month because of what it says are: “severe trading difficulties.”
A sign has appeared in the window of Country Dry Cleaners and Cobblers in Denmark Street this week announcing the closure on April 25, and that no cleaning is now being accepted.
It is requesting that all outstanding cleaning be collected by that date.
The family-run business has been trading in the town for more than 30 years, and also provided key cutting and parcel delivery and collection services.
The business did not respond to requests from Wokingham Today for further comment.
