Last month, Christmas came early as five members of the Inner Wheel Club of Reading Maiden Erlegh spent the afternoon happily selecting and wrapping presents for children referred to The Cowshed, a charity which provides support to people and children of all backgrounds in
times of crisis.
This is a special year as Inner Wheel, which was founded in the UK and is now a worldwide organisation, is celebrating its centenary. The Inner Wheel Club of Reading Maiden Erlegh meets at Sonning Golf Club on the third Thursday evening of every month and welcomes new members to join in the fun, take part in activities, raise funds for charity and support the local community.
