A GROUP that meets monthly to discuss Britain’s railways hears from speaker Paul King in April.
The Wokingham Methodist Railway and Transport Club will be treated to: A Tour of Victorian and Edwardian Britain Illustrated By Contemporary Postcards.
Paul will give a brief view of the nineteenth century railway.
Referring to postcards, he will look at railway construction between London and the North West, railway owned buildings, and events associated with the railway.
The group meets at the Wokingham Methodist Church Bradbury Centre, in Rose Street, on the third Tuesday of the month.
The next is scheduled for April 18 at 7.30pm.
