Wokingham borough council has been contacted by neighbouring Hart borough council for its comments on plans for up to 190 homes in Eversley, close to the borough border.
Agents for developers Cemex UK have submitted an application for outline planning permission for residential development of up to 190 dwellings on land south of Reading Road, and west of Hollybush Lane in central Eversley.
The proposal seeks outline planning permission for residential development, with all matters reserved except access.
Appearance, scale, layout and landscaping will be determined at reserved matters stage.
The site area is 45.7 hectares in total.
The plans have been amended to a scheme previously submitted. The changes primarily relate to a proposed expansion of the area of land that will provide designated SANG, as well as the provision of an updated drainage strategy.
The plans have received a large number of objections with many citing the potential damage to a rural location.
There were also a significant number of comments supporting the plans, with many highlighting the need for more homes in the area.
Because the application is a matter for Hart borough council, residents can use their website to view the details and comment online on the application.
