Part of a Wokingham street was flooded earlier this morning – but not as a result of rain.
Tangley Drive, off Finchampstead Road, was impassable to traffic due to a burst water main.
Paul Mann, regional network manager for South East Water, told Wokingham Today:“We are sorry to our customers that have been impacted by flooding due to a burst water main near Tangley Drive in Wokingham.
“We are on the site of the burst where the damage has successfully been repaired, and we will return the work area to a good condition.
“We understand that these works can be frustrating and appreciate our customers’ patience and understanding whilst the pipe is repaired.”
