A person died after being hit by a train at Twyford station this afternoon. Train services in and out of London Paddington were delayed while police responded to the emergency.
Great Western Railway is currently reporting that the line between Reading and Slough is blocked, meaning that train services to and from these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 90 minutes, or revised.
Delays are expected until 6.30pm. However, trains to London have now started to run again.
The station has been closed and trains are currently waiting on tracks outside. Police and paramedics are on site.
