Items of what have been described as a ‘questionable nature’ were fly-tipped alongside the entrance road to a prestigious private school in Wokingham.
The unmarked packages, which appear to have once contained sex toys, were dumped on private land off the entrance road to Ludgrove school, off Easthampstead Road.
Past pupils at the school include HRH The Prince of Wales and the Duke of Sussex.
A local resident, who declined to be named, contacted Wokingham Today following the discovery.
She said she had been walking with her daughters, aged 10 and 12, when she saw the packaging dumped close to the Emmbrook.
She told Wokingham Today: “It was clearly apparent to me what the packaging had once contained.
“I kept walking quickly, as it wasn’t a conversation I wanted to have with my daughters.”
Similar packaging also appeared to have been fly-tipped in the nearby Gypsy Lane area close to the Landborough Road recreation ground.
Wokingham Borough Council said on Tuesday that it had not received any reports of fly-tipping in the location, and that it would not initially intervene if the incident was on private land.
Thames Valley Police said it was unaware of any incidents where items matching the description had been reported missing.
The school confirmed on Wednesday morning that it has disposed of the items adjacent to its property.
