It’s that time, where our attention turns to the most exciting game of them all. The tournament has started and passionate players from far and wide are exhibiting their skills to win the ultimate prize. That’s right folks… Our Sportsball game has launched and YOU could win a year’s free supply of beer.
Before we tell you more about the game, if you’ve not heard of Sportsball, it’s a beer we designed to pair perfectly with all manner of sporting events. It’s a 4.5% Kölsch Style Ale, which is a style of beer originating from Germany. This style of beer could be mistaken for a classic lager, but presents with more depth of flavour. It’s refreshing, full of character and a beer that you can turn to time and time again.
It’s perfect for an afternoon jam packed full of sport. We first launched this beer for Wimbledon, but it’s back again for the World Cup Sportsball Tournament.
The game itself is simple in concept, but addictive, and with big prizes on offer. There are beers raining from the sky, which you need to collect in your ice bucket. Capture the sportsballs, or indeed any Siren beer (and look out for the rare ones for more points!), to succeed – but be careful to avoid the mass-produced beers!
It’s free to play, and the star prize on offer is a year’s supply of craft beer. Head to sirencraftbrew.com/playsportsball to get going, or scan the QR code here.
But that’s not it! Cans of Sportsball are now out in the wild – with a nostalgic twist. Be on the lookout for Sportsball Shinies! Remember that feeling of peeling open your packet of stickers and finding a treasured shiny? Recreate that with a box of beer, as one of your cans could be a shiny. If it is, once again you’ll be winning some amazing prizes.

Lastly, our country pub, The George & Dragon in Swallowfield, is now taking bookings for Christmas Parties and The Siren Tap Yard has a mini Christmas Market on Saturday 10th December, including a meet and greet of the main man himself – Santa!
Enjoy the sportsball and we’ll see you soon!
