A TEENAGE girl was assaulted following a fight outside a shop in Barkham.
Thames Valley Police has just released details of the incident, which took place between 6pm and 6.30pm on Friday, January 12.
Police said that the fight involved a group of 10 to 15 youths by the NISA Local store on Barkham Road, next to KC Sports and close to Wokingham’s railway station.
During the fight, a 14-year-old girl was assaulted.
A description of the offenders has been released.
There are said to be five females attackers, four of which are said to be teenagers.
One was wearing a khaki green coat with a fur hood, another was wearing a dark puffa coat, the third was wearing a wearing white coat, and the other unknown.
Police said that there was a woman aged between 30 and 40, wearing a white coat, involved.
It might be linked to a similar incident which took place in the same area before Christmas.
In this attack, a gang of up to 15 attacked a teenage boy and stole his belt.
This incident took place on Wednesday, December 20, in Barkham Road at about 6.20pm.
The victim was a 14-year-old boy.
Thames Valley Police said that he was walking along Barkham Road in the direction of the Molly Millars industrial estate when he was approached and assaulted from behind by a group of between 10 and 15 males.
He was pushed to the ground and was then punched and kicked, and when he tried to get up, he was punched and kicked again.
The victim’s Versace belt was stolen from him.
The attack could have been worse – it was stopped after a driver pulled over to help the victim.
The offenders in this incident are male, and some were aged between 14 and 18.
They were wearing dark clothing with their hoods pulled up, and some had scarves covering their faces. Some of the offenders were carrying bags.
The victim sustained cuts and bruises as a result of the incident and was taken to hospital for treatment.
