A SPECIAL contest is being planned at a Wokingham bookseller with the top prize being a signed copy of David Walliams’ new book.
The World’s Worst Teachers is the latest comic novel from the imagination of the actor and comedian and will be published next month.
It contains 10 stories, all illustrated by Tony Ross. And if it’s anything like his previous books, including Mr Stink and Billionaire Boy, it will be in the best seller charts.
To celebrate, WHSmith in Market Place is to hold a fun day on Thursday, June 27, with activities and games to enjoy, plus the chance to win that signed copy.
The store is running a colouring competition, with prizes on offer – including the chance to be pictured in The Wokingham Paper.
It is also offering a free Star Wars or unicorn-themed joke book for anyone reserving a copy ahead of publication.
