BURGHFIELD made it to the final with a narrow away win at Windsor & Eton.

The only goal of the game was netted by Jordan Cox who sent his team through to the final to face Maidenhead Town.

FINCHAMPSTEAD suffered penalty shootout heartbreak as they missed out on qualifying for the Charles Twelftree Trophy final.

The game ended in a 1-1 draw, but it was Maidenhead Town who booked their place in the final with a 5-4 win on penalties.

Southern League Premier South

BRACKNELL TOWN were handed their 12th league defeat of the season with an away loss to Beaconsfield Town on Saturday.

Bracknell then fell to back-to-back losses after their Tuesday night trip to Hayes & Yeading United.

The Robins came close to pulling off an unlikely comeback after they found themselves three goals down as the hosts stormed into a comfortable lead.

With 10 minutes to go, Bracknell clawed a goal back from the penalty spot through Ashley Lodge before Joe Grant netted to make it 3-2. However, the home team held on to claim the points.

Bracknell are in ninth spot on 39 points from 28 games.


Isthmian South Central

BINFIELD made it back-to-back wins by snatching a stoppage time winner at home to Southall.

With the game headed for a goalless draw, Ethan Lindo popped up with a 94th minute winner to see the Moles to their first home win of the league campaign.

The victory moves them onto 10 points, 10 points adrift of safety but with two games in hand over Guernsey.

Binfield were edged out 3-2 in their home clash with Westfield.

Goals from Ethan Lindo and Alfie Huckle gave the Moles a 2-1 lead at the break, but the visitors hit back and scored an 83rd minute penalty to win the game.

ASCOT UNITED came back from two goals down to take a point at home to Ashford Town.

After the visitors had established a two-goal advantage, Harry Laflin replied for the Yellas to make it 2-1 before the break.

With just four minutes to play, Ascot levelled up with an 86th minute strike from Ben Harris to claim a point.

Ascot are in 13th on 27 points from 27 games.


Combined Counties Premier North

WOKINGHAM & EMMBROOK put a point on the board by scoring a late equaliser at home to Ardley United.

The Sumas twice fell behind, but the returning James Clark levelled up first before Michael O’Connor’s 82nd minute penalty earned a point.

READING CITY smacked five past Egham Town in a clinical away performance.

Goals from Ellis Cowd, Dan Warre, Joel Valentin, James Richardson and Tyler Robinson helped the Cityzens to a magnificent away win.

Combined Counties Division One

BERKS COUNTY continued their superb form with a win in an eight goal contest with Windsor.

YATELEY UNITED scored five without reply away at Hillingdon Borough to earn an emphatic win.

A brace from Warren Clark and goals from Christopher Boutros, Jordan Robertson and Harry Wilcox helped Yateley to win 5-0.

WOODLEY UNITED lost out 2-1 in their home fixture with Brook House.

EVERSLEY & CALIFORNIA and BERKS COUNTY shared the points in their Tuesday night battle.

The Swords broke the deadlock just before half-time, but the Boars ensured they would take a point as Ciaran Carilan brought the game level in the second-half.

Eversley are in fifth on 49 points, while County are in second on 57 points.
