ORGANISERS are making final arrangements for the 43rd Three Counties Cycle Ride (3ccr), which will take place next month.
The event which, starts and finishes in Bracknell, offers three cycling routes; 15, 34, and 52 miles long.
Organisers say it isn’t a race, but a charity bike ride to suit all ages and abilities.
It gives participants an opportunity to enjoy cycling through Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, while raising money for a charity of their choice.
Since 1983 the event has generated more than a million pounds for local good causes.
All its routes are well-signed, with marshals and drink stations on the longer routes, which dip into Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, and Ride Angels from Bia Cycling Club will be riding on all three routes to support the cyclists.
Afterwards people can enjoy the Bracknell Cycle Festival, in Bond Square, next to the Lexicon.

Organised by Avanti Cycling in co-operation with Trek Bracknell and Bracknell Forest Council, the festival will offer BMX stunt displays, a cycling obstacle course, an opportunity to get bikes security labelled by Thames Valley Police team and a chance to visit the Thames Valley Air Ambulance (TVAA) stall.
There will also be cycling and community stalls, hot dogs, teas and coffees, and beer.
On Sunday, June 7, riders can register from 7.30am, and will leave Garth Hill School from 8am, with the last cyclists setting off at 9.30am.
All participants will return to the same location, with the event closing down from 4pm, and vacated by 4.30pm.
All accompanied Under 18s ride for £1 whether they register now to reserve their preferred start time, or on the day.
Over 18s can register now online for £20, or on the day for £25.
All money raised by cyclists goes to their own causes, and any profits from this year’s 3CCR will go to the TVAA team.

On the same day, the Bracknell Cycle Festival will run from 11am to 4pm.
