Having closed last month for a month-long refurbishment, the Royal Foresters on London Road in Ascot has re-opened its doors.
A meeting place in the heart of Ascot for more than 140 years, the historic building has now been refurbished and redesigned.
It’s a place where the past meets the present, and where cosy log fires meet wood-fired pizza ovens, with a bar with craft beers aplenty and cocktails perfect to enjoy on the pub terrace.
The Royal Foresters also has 24 bespoke guest rooms, each with contemporary interiors and luxury finishes and flexible function spaces for celebrations, meetings or family gatherings.
The 90-strong crew have been using the closure time toundergo training.
The Royal Foresters is part of Acorn Pubs, a collection that sits within the Brunning and Price family.
Each Acorn pub is very much individual, but all hold the same ideals of what makes a ‘proper pub’; beautiful buildings offering a warm welcome, a good range of beers, freshly cooked food, delicious and affordable wine and genuine hospitality.
The team have lots planned for their returning customers, whether it be a monthly group pub walk, held on the first Saturday of the month or a monthly general knowledge quiz, held on the first Tuesday of the month.
Their attention is already on how to make their pub the best place to watch the upcoming World Cup, and the perfect place to spend time before and after the races.
