Reading FC defender Tyler Bindon has sent a farewell message to the fans as he departs the club this summer.
Bindon has enjoyed a phenomenal rise at Reading having joined the club on a free transfer from LA FC in 2023.
The club originally intended to use Bindon in the under 21s team, but such was his development that he was fast tracked into the first-team.
Having been given first-team opportunities under Ruben Selles in the EFL Trophy, Bindon forced his way into the League One team and was a mainstay in the startling eleven throughout his two seasons with the Royals.
Bindon won the vote for Reading’s Player of the Season for the 2024/25 season.
He now joins Premier League Nottingham Forest who purchased the talented defender in the January transfer window before loaning him back to Reading for the remainder of the season.
In a post on Instagram, Bindon said: “To the staff, players, fans and everyone connected to the club, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
“Without you all, there would be no club. You have shown incredible strength through tough times and I truly hope brighter days are now ahead.
“It has been an absolute honour to call myself a Royal for the past two years. I’ve loved every moment and every connection made. The memories will stay with me forever.
“I will miss you all. Thank you for everything.”
