A man has been jailed for more than four years after admitting a series of drug offences in Bracknell.
Claydon Heard, 39, of Leaves Green, Bracknell, was sentenced at Reading Crown Court on Monday, 27 April, to four years and four months in prison.
He previously pleaded guilty to three counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs, namely cocaine, two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs, namely crack cocaine, one count of possession with intent to supply class A drugs, namely heroin, and three counts of possession of a class B drug, namely cannabis.
Thames Valley Police said Heard was stopped by officers on multiple occasions while in possession of class A and class B drugs, with the most recent incident taking place on 10 February this year.
He was arrested and charged the following day, 11 February, and later convicted on 23 March after entering guilty pleas.
Investigating officer PC Alistair Rokas said the sentence reflected the seriousness of the offences and the harm caused by drug supply in local communities.
He said Heard had repeatedly been found in possession of controlled substances, including class A drugs, and continued to offend despite previous police intervention.
“We remain committed to proactively targeting those involved in the supply of drugs and bringing offenders before the courts,” he added.
