Christmas may seem like a long way away, but already plans are being made for this year’s pantomime in Reading.

The Hexagon has already announced that Justin Fletcher – aka Mr Tumble – will be returning for the festive production of Snow White. Now they’ve announced that Paul Morse will be back for his fourth year as the dame.

Mr Morse has previously appeared as the comic dame in Jack and the Beanstalk, Cinderella and, last Christmas as Sarah the Cook in Dick Whittington.

Writing on Facebook, Reading Arts – which manages The Hexagon – expressed their delight at Paul’s casting.

They said: “Look who is back in our panto! and he’s only been awarded the ‘Best Dame’ in the UK Panto Fan Awards, well done Paul Morse! We have a feeling Snow White is going to be a very popular show!”

Snow White runs at The Hexagon in Reading from Saturday 10 December 2016 – Sunday 8 January 2017. It is produced by Imagine Theatre.
