TWO groups that share a love of reading meet in Finchampstead, and in Wokingham.
They offer an opportunity for people to relax while listening to stories and poems read aloud.
Organiser of both groups Fiona Dignan, said: “The groups have become a band of friends.
“They are also a place to chat and have conversations.
“We read the literature, and then we often find that it prompts us to talk about the big life issues we’ve just heard about.
“It’s a moment when we step out of normal life to read, connect and share our thoughts and experiences.”
The Wokingham group meets at Wokingham Library every Tuesday, from 12.15pm until 1.45pm.
The Finchampstead group meets at Finchampstead Library, at the FBC Centre, on Mondays, from 2pm until 3pm.
Meetings are free, and people can just drop in.
