Loddon District Guides gathered a brainy crowd of about 50 people together for a quiz night at Twyford Scout HQ earlier this month.
All those wise answers and some wild guesses helped raise funds for the ARC counselling service based in Wokingham. The service helps young people and adults.
A group of Guide leaders and others organised the evening which included a tasty hot supper and lots of fun with the questions.
The group included Wendy Gribble, Sarah Tranmer, Kath and Martin Hillier, Claire Howells and Anne Helmore.
Members of the winning quiz team were: Sian Deller, Mike Gibbons and Stephen, Louise, Shelagh and Ian Baird-Smith.
Mrs Helmore, one of the Twyford Guide leaders, said: “Guiding is alive and thriving here, but we always welcome people interested in being leaders.”
