A WHOLE weekend of family fun will be taking place at one of the borough’s most-loved country parks next week.
Dinton Pastures, in Hurst, will play host to residents, families and visitors on June 3 and 4 to showcase some of the activities the country park has to offer.
The event will be held at Dinton Activity Centre, on Sandford Lane, where there will be an array of watersports on offer from sailing to paddle boarding, as well as land-based activities from rock climbing to exploring pond life in the nature area.
The 1st Winnersh Scouts will be on hand to provide a barbecue throughout the weekend while raising funds for their activities, and there will be a host of displays and interactive stalls from the borough’s local services and sports clubs.
Tanya Lee, Dinton Activity Centre manager, said: “This is a fabulous event that showcases the variety of activities on offer in the borough’s flagship country park.
“What better way to enjoy a family weekend in June, than by the lakeside at Dinton?
“This event is popular so it’s best to get there early and book your activities for the day to save disappointment.”
All activities cost £2 for 15 minutes. Activities run every 20 minutes between 11am and 4pm with a short break for lunch.
No pre-booking is required, simply turn up on the day. Minimum age restrictions may apply.
