A WOKINGHAM fundraiser event entertained crowds of visitors under a sunny summer sky.

WADE Summer Fair provided a relaxed and friendly opportunity to enjoy stalls, live music and refreshments.

With stalls lining the day centre’s floral garden, and tables set on the lawn for visitors wishing to take advantage of the barbecue, ice creams and cakes available on the day, it was the perfect way to spend a warm and serenely sunny day.

Attractions included a plant stall filled with local varieties for the garden, and traditional funfair games.

Live music was ably performed by Kevin, who played a range of gently jazzy well known numbers on his trumpet.

The day centre provides a social hub for the older people in the borough, with activities, meals, care and friendship.
