ON WHITSUN holiday Monday, Woodley’s town centre will be transformed into a giant playground
as the annual children’s fun day returns.
Attractions are free and include a petting zoo courtesy of Basil & Crew farm animals, clowning around from Circus Scene and the opportunity to take part in chalk drawing.
There will also be opportunities to learn magic tricks, watch a Punch & Judy show and take part in a circus workshop.
The annual event draws a large crowd of exciting youngsters in the Crockhamwell Road shopping precinct between 11am and 3pm.
“We’re going to have a great children’s fun day with lots of activities for them,” said Woodley Town Centre
Management Initiative’s manager Jacques Lherbier.
“All activities will be free.
“It’s always very popular with children and adults as well.
“It’s great to have artistic activities, circus, juggling activities.
“It’s all free and it’s all fun.
“Everyone is welcome to come and it will be a great day.”
