Thames Valley Police have released a statement after there was a police presence in the Crossways area of Woodley at around 6pm yesterday.
A statement from TVP Said: “We are aware of concerns following our presence in the Crossways area of Woodley at approximately 6pm yesterday.
“We would like to reassure the community that there was no threat to public safety. Our response was based on the information reported to us at the time, and we acted accordingly.
“We are continuing to support those involved, working closely with our partner agencies.
“If you have any concerns or information, please don’t hesitate to contact us online, via 101, or speak directly with a uniformed officer on patrol or at your local police station.”
