THE CAST and crew of Twyford Drama’s forthcoming Traitor at The Beeches are currently at the fun part of pre-production, says director Kathy Reid.
“Our actors are focusing on building an eccentric jumble of characters who live in Beeches Manor Residential Home, and have thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of finding the right ‘look’ for their individual role,” she explained.

Meanwhile, backstage members of the team are applying the finishing touches to their creative work, with set building nearly complete.
Three bespoke paintings are already framed, and ingenious secret hiding places have been created for wheeler dealer Walker to hide his ‘treasure’.

“It is almost time for an audience to join us in the hunt for a traitor,” said Kathy.
“We’re all working hard to make this production as entertaining, comic, and as twisty-turny as possible and we hope our audiences will love the show as much as we have loved putting it together.”

Traitor at The Beeches is written by Kathy Reid, who also wrote and directed Fight them for The Beeches.
Other plays of hers have been performed at South Hill Park and Progress Theatre.
Traitor at The Beeches can be seen at Loddon Hall, Twyford, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, April 30, May 1 and 2.
Performances are at 7.45pm, with tickets available for £10 or £12.
