Two renowned cheerleading teams, Artemis Cheer and Platinum Allstars, have joined forces to create Platinum Artemis Studios.

The merger marks a significant milestone in the local sports and dance landscape, promising expanded opportunities for athletes and enhanced support for families.

After more than a decade of friendly rivalry, the CEOs of both organisations saw an opportunity to combine their strengths for the benefit of their athletes and the community.

Effective from the conclusion of the competition season in July, Artemis Cheer and Platinum Allstars will operate under the unified banner of Platinum Artemis Studios.

The alliance will bring double the coaching talent, offering athletes a pathway for progression, and for families comprehensive back-office support.

Prior to the merger, both programs will continue to compete independently, with mutual support at events.

To celebrate the collaboration, 200 cheerleaders will have the opportunity to participate in a free, week-long workshop program during the May school holiday at Bracknell Gym.

This initiative will provide participants with the combined expertise of coaches from both Artemis Cheer and Platinum Allstars.

“This collaboration represents a new chapter for cheerleading in our community,” said Lizy Bennett, program director of Platinum Allstars.

“With a blended coaching team, we now boast the best and most qualified senior coaching team in the Bracknell & Wokingham area.

“There will be many benefits to students of Artemis, Platinum, and the local community, enabled by our combined strengths.”

Niki Robinson, CEO and founder of Artemis Cheer, expressed her enthusiasm for the merger.

She said: “I am so delighted to welcome Lizy, her marvellous team, and all her athletes to be part of Artemis.

“We are very excited for the new season, and will have another big announcement soon.”
