THE woman who died following a crash in Wokingham town centre last month has been named as Diane Trinder.
Mrs Trinder, who was 74 and lived in Sirius Close, Woosehill, was involved in the collision on Bank Holiday Monday May 2, and died at the John Radcliffe Hospital on May 16.
The collision between a black Mercedes A180 and a blue Vauxhall Corsa took place at around 10.25am on the A329 Reading Road, at the junction with Station Road.
An inquest into Mrs Trinder’s death was opened on Monday, May 23.
Mrs Trinder spent a lot of time working as a volunteer, raising money for various charities including the MS Society, Dogs for the Disabled and Dog’s Trust.
In a tribute, her son’s Wayne and Mark said: “Mum was a wonderful caring person who always put other people first.
“Her funeral is on June 10th at Henley Road crematorium and will be a celebration of her life.All are welcome and are asked to wear whatever they feel comfortable in wearing.Mum wouldn’t want to make a fuss.
“She will sorely missed as a Mum,Sister,Auntie and Friend.”
