THEY’RE sausages fit for an award-winner!

On Saturday, Finchampstead-based Siren Craft Brew hosted one of its first events for 2019 thanks to a visit from a gourmet hot dog vendor The Woozy Pig.

Guests could try some unique and interesting sausage combinations alongside the popular beers brewed on site.

Last year, the company won Supreme Champion Beer of Britain at the Great British Beer Festival organised by real ale experts Camra.

And the events don’t stop.

Next Thursday, the Tap Yard at Siren’s Hogwood Lane Industrial Estate base will be holding an evening of beer and rum.

The company will be welcoming rum expert Dean McGregor who will pair some of Siren’s beers with rums from around the world.

Organisers say that guests should expect to be taken on a journey through varying styles and flavours, complimentary and contrasting pairings, and learn more about the beers and rum in the process.

Rums will include a Haitian Rum wild fermentated for seven days, a style rarely seen in this country.

The event runs from 6pm on Thursday, February 28.

For more details, or to book, call the brewery on 0118 973 0929.
