CALA Homes (Thames) has sponsored a Finchampstead summer fundraiser, helping a school to buy new equipment and resources.
The housebuilder boosted Nine Mile Ride Primary School’s Summer Fayre with a £1,500 donation, helping the school raise funds for a range of purchases that will benefit around 400 pupils.
The funding will go towards new playground equipment, cooking resources for children’s food technology lessons, phonics books, PE equipment, outdoor learning resources, drama workshops for every year group, and a life-saving anti-choking device for the school.
The Summer Fayre brought together pupils, families, staff and the wider Finchampstead community for a day of fundraising and entertainment, with Cala’s sponsorship helping to make the event a success while contributing towards projects that will enhance children’s learning and wellbeing.
The donation forms part of Cala’s ongoing Community Pledge, a key initiative that reflects the housebuilder’s commitment to delivering positive social impact in the communities where it builds homes, including its phases The Meadows and The Ridge at Finchwood Park.
