A MAN was pulled from his car, tied up and threatened with a knife in Wokingham town centre last week.
At around 2.30am on Thursday, May 26, a 30-year-old man was in his car in Cockpit Path car park when two men smashed the window and pulled him from the vehicle.
The victim was tied up and threatened with a knife before the men, who were wearing balaclavas, stole his bag.
The men ran off towards Sturgess Road, jumping over the car park fence.
The victim suffered minor injuries during the robbery, and did not require hospital treatment.
The offenders are described as short and spoke to each other in a foreign language.
Investigating officer, Det Con Nicki Wright, of Local CID based at Loddon Valley police station, said: “Although only minor injuries were sustained, the victim was understandably left very shaken as a result of this incident.
“I would like to speak to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in this area at this time. Anyone with any information can contact me via the Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.
“If you do not want to speak directly to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.”
