Winnersh parish council is hosting its Summer fete on Saturday, June 20, at Bearwood recreation ground from 1pm to 4.30pm. Entry and parking are free.
The family-friendly event features more than 60 stalls showcasing local businesses, charities and organisations. There’ll be traditional arena displays including maypole dancing from Bearwood primary school, BMX stunt demonstrations from the 3Sixty Bicycle Stunt Team, and a routine from Legacy Allstars cheerleading.
Children can enjoy Circus Scene, Basil and Crew Mobile Farm, a climbing wall from Dinton Activity Centre, and bouncy castles and soft play.
A BBQ, ice cream van and JoJo’s Food Truck will be serving food throughout the day, with tea and coffee in the hall. The Rollin’ Inn licensed bar will also be open.
The fete continues into the evening, with live music from The Salty Dogs and The Bootlegs Band from 4.30pm to 8.30pm, with the bar and food trucks staying open.
