WOODLEY came together on Saturday for its annual day of fun and games.
Woodford Park was once again the venue for the Carnival, organised by volunteers and the town’s biggest community event.
During the afternoon, visitors flocked to enjoy ice cream, cream teas, stalls, games and a fun fair. The arena hosted a classic car show, a farmyard organised by Just Around the Corner (JAC), caged birds and a model railway display.
There were visits from a T-Rex, the Star Wars Squadron, and a BMX Stunt Team.
In the evening, there were four bands performing: Ready Or Not, That Brit Sound, Back Line, and Piston Broke, before fireworks lit up the night sky.
Opening the event was Woodley Town Mayor Cllr Juliet Anderson who siad there was so much to do at the event, and encouraged people to support the charities running stalls.
“I’ve lived in Woodley most of my life and it is a fantastic place to live, as evidenced by the community that has come together this afternoon,” she added.
