Foodies in Wokingham will have the opportunity to taste dishes created by an award-winning chef next month.
Restaurateur and chef Awanish Roy of Club India on Reading Road in Winnersh is teaming up with chef Inderpal Singh, winner of season four of Masterchef Singapore for one night on Thursday, April 30.
According to the restaurant, “Each dish has been “.. thoughtfully curated to take you on a journey through heritage, flavour and craft — the kind of dinner that stays with you long after the last course.”
Chef Roy told Wokingham Today that the collaboration is happening for the first time in Wokingham, and that such events normally take place in London.
He added: “Wokingham, and the Berkshire community, has welcomed me and Club India with open arms, and has made Club India a huge success, so it is time for me to give back something to the community.
“There could not have been a better way than collaborating with a Master Chef winner, and bringing him to our community.”
He added that chef Singh will be showcasing some of the finest Singaporean dishes, including the national dish – Singapore chilli crab.
