THIS month’s Spencers Wood repair cafe will take place on Sunday, July 2.
Residents can bring broken household items to be fixed by the group’s able team of volunteers at Spencers Wood Village Hall, Basingstoke Road.
Organiser Billie Bachra said: “Bring along your broken household items and our friendly group of volunteers will try to fix them for you or give you advice.
“We have a book shop, make me an offer table and a cafe for you to enjoy while you learn, watch or just chill out. Reduce, reuse, recycle. It’s free, but donations are gratefully accepted for running costs and for local charities.”
The monthly initiative provides both economical and environmental solutions to product waste.
The repair cafe takes place between 10am-1pm.
