Uplifting images captured in Henley, Ruscombe, Remenham and Wargrave are the focus of a charity calendar.
Photographer Kitty Holmes has created the 2023 calendar for 2024, and funds raised from sales are being donated to Building for the Future.
Inside the A3 calendar are 27 images captured by Kitty, who has cerebral palsy, when visiting local areas of natural beauty with her family.
She has created the calendar as another project from her organisation, Ignite Arts, to raise money for charity and to celebrate some beautiful areas of Berkshire.
“I love this area,” she said.
“We’ve got great views of nature and countryside. When I take photographs I can look and see things in more details.”
“Mostly I just take the camera when I go out.
“Sometimes I go for something special – weather or wildlife.
“We went to Henley to try and get the swifts (the June photo). That was really hard because they kept flying away but you can just see one by the wires.”
Kitty’s photographic skills, combined with adapted equipment and a love of nature and the outdoors, has produced a calendar that she can be proud of – and early sales show that others like it too.
“A lot of people said they really love it because it shows our area through the year,” she added.

A total of 25% of sales go to Building for the Future, a parent-led charity centre for children with additional needs in and around Wokingham.
