Last time out, we told you about work starting on our brand new flagship bar in the centre of Reading. The 400 sq foot site is on Friar Street, just a 2-minute walk from the Reading Central train station. It will feature over 30 lines of beer, with both keg and cask beer from Siren and guest breweries both local and further afield. Outside of beer, the bar will feature amazing coffee and soft drink options, an incredible wine list and some exciting cocktails. Not to mention the food; we’re working hard to put together a menu that’s bound to intrigue and delight.
And after all that, we haven’t even told you the really exciting bit yet!
We want you to join us on this journey, and as a bonus, we’re going to make sure that you’ve got a healthy bar tab for when you come and visit. Our crowdfunding campaign has begun, and has already amassed over £110,000 in support.
Everyone who pledges gets 150% of their pledge back to spend either at the new bar, or online on our webshop. That’s free money for you to enjoy Reading’s most anticipated new eating and drinking hub.
