ANYONE interested in trying lawn bowling can visit a borough club in May.
Wokingham Bowling Club is opening its doors to people who want to give the sport a try.
Organisers say that bowling is a very relaxing and social game, suitable for all ages, and that players can take the game to any level they wish.
To try the sport, people can turn up to the club’s open day, bringing with them a flat pair of shoes to play in.
Members will welcome visitors to have a go at lawn bowls at Wokingham Bowling Club,on Reading Road, beside the Youth Centre, on Sunday, May 10, from 10am until 2pm.
The club has two greens available, and plenty of parking space.
