A talented student from Wokingham borough, Olivija, has been crowned the International Junior Miss United Kingdom Pre-Teen 2026 winner in a prestigious competition earlier this month.
This means Olivija, will now go on to represent the United Kingdom this December in Orlando, United States of America.
Olivia, a year 8 pupil at Waingels School, has demonstrated exceptional dedication and determination throughout the past year. Her hard work, commitment, and passion have now been rewarded with this incredible opportunity to compete on an international stage.
Beyond her achievements, Olivija is also deeply committed to her local community. She regularly donates to local food banks, contributes clothing to charities, and is an active member of a local litter-picking initiative, Adopt a Street.
Her efforts reflect her determination to help keep the environment clean and support those in need.
Olivija, is equally passionate about the performing arts. She loves dancing, being on stage, and expressing herself through performance, as well as playing the piano. In addition, she has achieved a blue belt in martial arts, demonstrating her discipline and dedication across a range of activities.
A long-standing member of the local performing arts school Steppin Out Stars of Tomorrow, Olivija, has taken part in many local events and musical shows over the years, further showcasing her talent and confidence on stage.
Teachers and members of the local community have praised Olivija for her perseverance and positive attitude, highlighting her as a true role model for other young people in the area.
She is also an ambassador for children’s and young people’s mental health, using her platform to raise awareness and support others.
Balancing her studies alongside the demands of preparation, she has shown maturity and resilience well beyond her years.
