Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an assault in Peach Street, Wokingham in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The former Mumbai takeaway and Sally salon supply shop were taped off by Police earlier today. What appeared to be a used foil blanket and drops of blood were on the pavement.
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police told Wokingham Today: “This morning, Sunday, at around 2.20am, we were called to Peach Street following a report of an assault taking place.
“Officers attended and found a man in his twenties with serious injuries. He is currently in hospital receiving treatment.
“We did have a scene watch in place, but this has since been stood down.
“Our investigation is going, and we ask that any witnesses please contact us on 101 quoting reference 43260326101.”
