A CAR was destroyed by fire in Binfield on Thursday night.
A crew from Bracknell Fire Station was called out to Beehive Lane at around 9.20pm having receive reports a Vauxhall was ablaze.
It is believed the car had been abandoned.
Using hose reels, breathing apparatus and dry powder, firefighters spent around 40 minutes dealing with the incident.
The vehicle, which was said to be carrying a good tank of petrol and the with the fire “going well” when the crew arrived, had been reduced to a shell.
No one was injured in the incident.
