A CHARITY that helps vulnerable children is feeling grand, thanks to pupils of a Hurst school.
On Wednesday, pupils from the Dolphin School presented a cheque for £1,236.02 to The Honeypot Children’s Charity
Members of year 8 joined school head Tom Lewis to give the money to the charity’s representative Nicky West.
Honeypot is a children’s charity offering 4-day respite breaks and outreach support to young carers and vulnerable children in the UK.
Dolphin School has been supporting the charity for the last year, with fundraising events including the Christmas Fair, the Funraisers Spring Hot Lunch and sales of ice cream at Sports Day.
Ms West said, “Every child has the right to a childhood and thanks to Dolphin School, two children this year will be supported by the charity.”
