BRACKNELL TOWN went down to a heavy home defeat to AFC Totton.

The Robins found themselves two goals behind before Nana Owusu netted to get the hosts back into the contest.

However, it proved to be a false dawn as the visitors ran away with the game to take the points in a 5-1 victory in just Bracknell’s second home loss of the league season.

FA Vase first-round

EVERSLEY & CALIFORNIA moved through to the next round as they held their nerve from the penalty spot to beat Horsham YMCA.

READING CITY were eliminated with a 2-1 away loss to Steyning Town Community.

BINFIELD put their fourth point of the season on the board in a goalless draw at Corinthian Casuals.

The Moles remain at the bottom of the table after 10 matches.

WOKINGHAM & EMMBROOK snatched a point at the death thanks to Jake Woods’ stoppage time equaliser at Risborough Rangers.

The home side were ahead for much of the game before George Day levelled up with a little more than 15 minutes to go.

Risborough retook the lead late on but the drama was far from done when Woods latched onto Ryan Millward’s header and smashed in the leveller deep into stoppage time to make it 2-2.

Combined Counties Division One

BERKS COUNTY dropped down to fourth place after they lost out narrowly 3-2 to Penn & Tylers Green.

Thames Valley Premier League

BURGHFIELD collected three points at home to Holyport Reserves with a winner from Stan Simmons in a one goal game.

The victory puts Burghfield in fifth place on 17 points from nine matches.

WARGRAVE picked up their first draw of the season in a 2-2 stalemate with Henley Town.

They are in 12th position after their first seven matches.

READING CITY U23s suffered a heavy 7-0 defeat away.

BTC Senior Cup

READING YMCA were spot on to put their name in the hat for the next round.

Joel Burton netted a double for YMCA, including a stoppage time equaliser to take the game to penalties in their 2-2 draw with Slough Heating Laurencians.

YMCA kept their cool from the spot to progress with a 4-1 shootout win.

 

FINCHAMPSTEAD flew through to the next round with a comfortable 4-1 home success over SB Phoenix.
