The Wokingham Poppy Appeal has launched a search for more volunteers for this year’s campaign, which is set to run from Friday, October 23, through to Remembrance Sunday on November 8.
Campaign organiser David Dunham said: “We collect at Waitrose every day from 8am to 6pm, at Tesco from Monday to Friday between 9am to 5pm, at Sainsburys in Winnersh between 9am to 5pm every day, and in Wokingham town centre on Fridays and Saturdays of each week.
“If you are an individual, a local business, a local organisation, youth groups, and you think you can help, please contact me, any questions please ask.
“Also if you would like to go house to house in your area, that would be great.
“If your workplace gives you charity days, everything helps.”
