Drivers are facing heavy traffic on a major Reading road as urgent water works are carried out.
Temporary traffic signals are causing delays on the A329 Wokingham Road in both directions, between Kenton Road and Saffron Close.
Thames Water is carrying out the work to repair a leaking communication pipe.
Wokingham Borough Council has confirmed the works are expected to be completed later today.
The temporary traffic lights are in place while the repairs are carried out, with congestion reported on both sides of Wokingham Road.
Drivers using the route are being advised to allow extra time for their journeys while the works are completed.
