MEMBERS of a self advocacy group for people with learning disabilities in the Wokingham borough enjoyed a night of dancing.
CLASP Wokingham’s ceilidh evening was a great success, with lots of fun and laughter.

Michele Munro from the group said: “We had a brilliant time at All Saints Church, with fantastic music and dancing from Craigievar Ceilidh Band, and delicious food from everyone at the share supper.
“Wonderful company, chat, smiles and laughter; it was another awesome evening with CLASP and church friends.
“Thank you to all the organisers, and to everyone who came along.”

The user-led organisation is run by its members, employing people with learning disabilities, and offering them voluntary opportunities.
Members receive one to one support, information, advice and signposting.
CLASP also runs a disability awareness training group, Listen To Us, and a campaigning group called Take Notice.
The group welcomes new member enquiries.
