Lauren Bruton hopes playing games at Madejski Stadium will help attract more people to come and watch Reading Women.
Kelly Chambers’ side played their first Mad Stad game of the season last week, losing 2-1 against West Ham, usually having to host matches at Wycombe Wanderers’ Adams Park.

The crowd was significantly larger for the game at Madejski with 2,148 turning out to support the Royals, more than double the usual number who head over to Buckinghamshire.
And Bruton hopes some like what they saw.
“I saw a lot of families and kids at the game against West Ham which is great to see,” she said.
“We always want to inspire the next generation so hopefully they really enjoyed it despite the loss and hopefully we get more people to our next game against Man City at Adams Park (March 13).”

The Royals produced a disappointing performance in defeat against West Ham.
Fine finishes in each half from Alisha Lehmann gave the visitors a 2-0 lead before Fara Williams pulled one back from the penalty spot.
And Bruton says the visitors appeared more up for the clash than Reading.
“We just weren’t at the races going forward and off the ball,” she said.
“We just weren’t getting anywhere near them.
“We were losing first and second balls and I think that was the difference. They looked more up for it than us.
“We’ll have to take some of the positives out of it and then move on.
“We’ve got a couple of weeks off for the international break so hopefully we’ll be raring to go against City after that.”
