Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in the early hours of the morning in Lower Earley.
The incident happened at around 03:30 BST on 2 May 2026 at the junction of Cutbush Lane.
According to Thames Valley Police, the victim was attacked while inside a purple Peugeot by a man who punched him multiple times.
Officers said the assault continued outside the vehicle, leaving the victim with at least one broken rib and bruising.
Police said the suspect is described as a white man, around 6ft tall, of stocky build, with brown hair and unshaven facial hair.
He was reportedly riding a dark-coloured mountain bike with a chain and lock attached.
Investigators are urging anyone who may have seen the incident, or who has dashcam or CCTV footage from the area at the time, to come forward.
