Yuan Yang, the MP for Woodley and Earley, has called for inclusive growth that benefits local communities, following an International Investment Summit that has been taking place in London.
At the end of last month, she spoke at the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce’s (TVCC) Windsor Debates at Windsor Castle.
Speaking on the importance of government engaging with businesses, she said that she is “.. looking forward to continuing to meet with businesses in Earley, Woodley, Shinfield, and Whitley to help drive inclusive growth that benefits our local communities”.
Ms. Yang also spoke on her work as a former correspondent for the Financial Times, speaking to businesses across Europe and China about changing global supply chains and the challenges of the green transition.
The TVCC includes businesses of all sizes from a wide spectrum of industries, and Ms. Yang highlighted an upcoming meeting with (DfBT) minister, Sarah Jones, to discuss how to bring more investment into the TVCC’s thriving life sciences cluster, an industry which firms in Earley, Woodley, Shinfield, and Whitley thrive in.
